Pippa qualified in 2002 and worked in a variety of clinical settings consolidating core skills and gaining valuable and diverse clinical experience.
She chose to specialise in Neurology in 2004 and worked
as a senior physiotherapist in an acute hospital setting and as part of the Community Rehabilitation Team.
She has completed training courses in the areas of Neurophysiology, ‘The Bobath Concept’, splinting, use
of orthotics and upper limb rehabilitation.
She has an in-depth knowledge of a variety of Neurological conditions including Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Brain Injury and peripheral Neuropathy.
She has experience in the management of long term Neurological conditions, gait and movement analysis/re-education, managing high/low tone, hydrotherapy, fatigue management, balance training and falls prevention.
She has provided training and supervision to qualified and under-graduate physiotherapists and other healthcare workers.
Personal interests include horse riding and Pilates.
